richmondred01 2,307 #1 Posted October 20, 2013 I have a sleeve hitch on the 520. Hooked up a molded plow today and the lowed the plow into ground and the celvis 108145 which is attached to the cable bent. This is the smaller celvis. Do I need the longer 108145? Or am I missing something. This is the first time I've used the brinley sleeve hitch and the molded plow. Thanks for any help.
groundhog47 347 #2 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) If it is twisted and you don't mind a non WH/Toro part get a small forged chain clevis, believe a 1/4" from TSC, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot or another hardware vendor. You can even get stainless steel, but the regular forged steel runs from a bit over $2 to just under $5. You may need the loop (hinda) thimble eye ()(#10 pge 1 of 1) to potect the cable wrap inside the clevis unless you hae the chain lift fro rocker like old ones. I don't know if your set up has the rocker shaft, but I'm referring to the clevis that would pull on the vert portion of the clevis hitch or the sleeve hitch to raise an implement Edited October 21, 2013 by groundhog47
richmondred01 2,307 #3 Posted October 21, 2013 This clevis is under the tractor and attaches the ball of the cable.
groundhog47 347 #4 Posted October 21, 2013 Is that the item 13 or 14 on the 300 series tractor series lift?
HokieAg07 129 #5 Posted October 21, 2013 It is item 22 in the diagram linked here http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=toro_consumer&mn=85515%2C+Clevis+Hitch%2C+1989&dn=810161R1-61R10001-0001 How did it bend Mark, ie what does the clevis look like now? I am curious as to how that would even happen.
richmondred01 2,307 #6 Posted October 21, 2013 As I look at it I was most likely my fault I most have left the cotter pin out. In any event, why the need for the longer celvis for the hydros?
