rmaynard 16,290 #1 Posted October 18, 2013 Just thought it was interesting what I found while cruising eBay this afternoon. Someone in Wisconsin is selling a new old stock 1966 REO, still in the packing crate. Where the heck to you find something like that? A couple of years ago I'd say RickV1957's barn. But I don't think this was one of his. You can find the auction by searching "Vintage WheelHorse REO Riding Mower New in Crate"

rmaynard 16,290 #3 Posted October 18, 2013 Never saw it. I have been watching every eBay listing for Wheel Horse since 2009 when I started rebuilding my horses. Don't know how I missed it. Anyway, it's an interesting find for someone. Not very collectible, but interesting.

608KEB 796 #5 Posted October 18, 2013 My first mower I purchased when I was 14 was a REO. It had a 6 horse Techy. I had about 7-8 lawns to mow with that monster. Fun times!
rmaynard 16,290 #6 Posted October 18, 2013 Look at your search... You will find Wheel-horse to be different than 2 words Wheel Horse. My eBay search is done "wheel horse" wheelhorse. It picks up everything in either spelling. I could have missed it while on a vacation and away from the computer. CasualObserver 3,411 #7 Posted October 18, 2013 Where were you two months ago? That's when it was listed. There was a topic here about it too. Via Tapatalk
rmaynard 16,290 #8 Posted October 19, 2013 I honestly don't know how I missed it both on eBay and RS. My apology for the post.

CasualObserver 3,411 #10 Posted October 19, 2013 I honestly don't know how I missed it both on eBay and RS. My apology for the post. I didn't mean to sound snarky Bob, I genuinely meant where were you... you said you may have been on vacation or something... I was just trying to jog your memory. No need for apologies... it was easy to miss here. It didn't draw any interest. Even the guy who posted it has gone inactive... it may have actually been the seller.
