GT1100 / Kwikway earning its oats for Bowtiebutler

Hello All,

recently came across a pair of 6 hp Briggs ZZ hand crank start motors (late 1940's ??). Thought they where cool and had an idea to put one on a 1054 or something. But as Sparky will tell you I have a pad full of ideas and not nearly enough time.  So...... when I saw Bowtiebutlers restored Briggs motors I knew where these motors belonged.

The pic is of me loading the pallet into the back of my Silverado today..... the motors get a nice ride from Connecticut to Texas and Matt was thrilled that I contacted him about them. I hope to see them in all there restored glory. BTW-there is a second piece of rope you cant see that is keeping the pallet balanced in the pic. I'm not that good at balancing loads!!!

Motors weigh 140 lbs each plus the pallet and a piece of plywod on top of the pallet. Thats about 315--325 lbs dangling off that Kwikway and it was no problem!!!!

Tony
