phil 0 #1 Posted July 14, 2013 Sorry this may sound like a dumb question but I just purchased my 1985 wheel horse 417-8. The belt that runs to the pulley on the side on the tractor needs to be replaced. I cannot figure out how to get that belt off to replace it. I pulled the pin off the spindle but there is alot of tension on the belt still and I cannot remove it.Where is the tensioner release?
