pinecone 26 #1 Posted October 11, 2013 just got a new set of front 15-6-6 turf saver carlisle tires for a 312-8. originals worn thin. just wondering if there is a forward direction for the tire. i'm dumb as a mule with anything gas powered but i know there is no traction issue here. the pattern is -^^^- with the space bar being 1/2 inch on the side, then 4 inverted v's in the oppisite direction. i will go with the second, pointed forward unless told to do otherwise. valve inside, zerk outside. i'm learning. mowed till 7:30 (dark) here in ct. now till bud told me it would be wiser to go home. MANY buttressed roots covered with leaves, took the advise.
boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted October 11, 2013 Somewhere on that tire should be a direction arrow if the manufacturer has a suggested one.
rmaynard 16,314 #3 Posted October 11, 2013 Carlisle Turf Savers are multi-directional, meaning they can go on either way.
