roscoemi 245 #1 Posted September 26, 2013 I have searched the forum and tried every link mentioned, but cannot find a set of 10.5x4.50x4 tri ribs for the son's Ranger . He wants a set for plowing season and his birthday is in a month, and I'm getting desperate. Any help would be very appreciated!
sorekiwi 761 #2 Posted September 26, 2013 Sorry, no help on the size you wanted but here are some 3.00-4's: http://www.millertire.com/products/lawn-garden-tires/3-00-4/3-00-4-vredestein-3-rib-front-4-ply/ I have the same tire in a 4.00-4 on my Ranger, I think the 3.00-4's are what Kelly has on his. Jake Kuhn 1,579 #3 Posted September 26, 2013 I just bought a set of the 3.00-4's from miller. Haven't gotten them mounted yet...but they seem pretty nice. Was hoping for a 4.00-4 but couldn't find them anywhere.
SousaKerry 503 #4 Posted September 26, 2013 I Have a set of 4.00 x 4 on my Wife's Ranger and they look great. Got them from Miller Tire also, when I was shopping around I could not find anyone that stocked the larger version so I called Miller Tire and spoke with one of the owners. He said that he ordered some in one time, but did not like the look and had a hard time selling them all. I asked if he could order more and he said he could but they come direct from Europe and take several months to get here and that to only import one set would be very expensive. So I bought the smaller size and have been very happy. BTW that tractor turns on a dime with them tri-ribs on. As a lark I put them on my puller before I finished the Ranger that thing was a blast to rider around but I was scared that all the weight would bend the rims. roscoemi 245 #5 Posted September 28, 2013 Just ordered a set of the 3.5x4. Why do the tubes use a different size standard? I'll figure that out later I guess.
