dtallon 320 #1 Posted September 23, 2013 About 6 weeks ago I came across a 1075 on CL and after learning more about them decided it would make a fun project tractor for my son's to ride. Made some plans to go look at it and when I called to confirm the seller never returned my phone calls. I was bummed but eventually got over it, (mostly anyway). After seeing Martin/Kent's 875 build thread, and a 1075 at a recent show, I started looking for one again. I found another one on CL a little farther away, but it had been on there for over a month. I figured it was probably gone, but texted the seller anyway. I was excited when he said he still had it. I made plans over the weekend to go get it tomorrow, and was just starting to get ready for the trip when the seller texted and said someone just stopped by and made him a better offer so he sold it to him. . The search continues I guess.

DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #3 Posted September 23, 2013 I only call if I'm able to pick it up right away to prevent just such things from occurring.

dtallon 320 #5 Posted September 24, 2013 CL taketh away, CL giveth. My spirits were lifted some this evening by a non-WH score. Not the 1075 I was hoping for, but I think it will eventually pan out to help the WH fund, or maybe some good trade fodder. Martin - I'm crossing my fingers for Jacksonville this Saturday. It is our wedding anniversary on Saturday, so "another tractor show" is a tough sell. I think I convinced her to go as a family if we celebrate our anniversary on Sunday. When I looked at the weather this morning they were calling for rain on Saturday so I was worried about that throwing a monkey wrench into the plans, but I see now they have reduced that chance. As much as we could use the rain, I hope it holds off for another week. Dave
