Recommended Posts

Hi,The power take off release bearing has failed on my C101,this is the ball race that pulls/pushes the pulley,I have emailed the W-H dealers in the UK but the only replies I have had say they cannot help,it would probably take too long to get one from the US as only half my grass has been cut!,There are bearing suppliers locally who I will take the failed bearing to, but wonder if anyone knows the designation number for this bearing?  thanks, phil.

Not sure what size PTO Bell you have on that C101, but should be the same size as my Raider 12 and C-120. These use-

The old original Wheel Horse Part nbr was 5196 superseded to (Toro) 109842. The Bearing Number is Z9504AB.

I imported them from U.S (including the inner Needle Races and seals., with extra ones for spares. I may part with an outer bearing if your desperate.

I believe this is the bearing: http://www.amazon.com/Z9504-AB-Agricultural-Bearing-x1-7805x-61-P204RR6/dp/B009H6YW8O

It's $21.19 from Parts Tree - No. 109842.

Being an Agricultural bearing I would try a farm supply. If you look down at Product Description on AMAZON that bearing fits a dozen different mowers, You may find it at another mower dealer.

Bearing arrived by post a few days ago, fitted it and replaced the PTO lining with a spare one I had for the clutch on my 1930 austin seven (it was the correct dia but the rivet holes needed re drilling) then it rained! anyway the sun shone today and the grass cutting was finished!.
