Details needed on a recently acquired Wheel Horse

My 10 year old son and father in law recently acquired a Wheel Horse.  They desperately want to know more about the tractor.  They have begun restoration and would like to know more about what they have.

The info I have is Model # MS2929E Serial # H753146 and it has an Onan Engine.  I would appreciate any info or where I might go to find more info.  This is my son's 4th Wheel Horse and he would very much like to know the history.

Without seeing any pictures, I believe you have a D-160..

The model number you have listed is the number for the engine. That engine is used on the D160. So I agree it must be a D160.

D160's were made between 1974 and 1980. D series Wheelhorses were the biggest of the Garden Tractors they made. A and most B series were lawn tractors. C series were garden tractors and D's were "big" garden tractors or you might say the precursor of the modern "sub-compact tractor".
