Hodge71 665 #2 Posted September 19, 2013 You can buy friction material from McMaster-Carr for pretty cheap and glue it on yourself. I did it with my 18 auto turning brakes. daveoman1966 3,841 #3 Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) If you refer to lining of item 10 in this schematic (part # 9593), I have successfully used a cut-to-length chunk of an old leather belt. If you think it is too thin, glue two pieces together, then to the metal band with an expoy of some sort...I used POR15 for this. Of course, Ebay. .
