Inner Tubes

Recommended Posts

Minor question concerning inner tubes. My tire size is 23 x 8.5 x 12, want to add tubes to the tires, too many small leaks/cracks. Can't find the exact same size. If I get one close in size, will they still work properly??

What I have been told is that as long as the diameter is 12", the other dimensions can be bigger. A 23 x 10.50 x 12 will work fine in a 23 x 8.50 x 12 tire.

Absolutely, a close size will work...as like Bob said...the diameter is right. :)

Smaller is better -- too many times when the tube is oversized there will be folds in the tube when aired and it doesnt take all that long for the fold to develop a leak --- as long as its a 12.

Totally agree....in this case smaller is better....as long as it is for a 12" wheel.
