C-160 Auto 10 #1 Posted September 8, 2013 I've had a governor issue for quite a while, and I fixed that today. Now I want to be sure my wide open RPMs are set right. I want a good & accurate tach for my K341. I would prefer something permanently mounted, but I will be happy with something portable. I've read about the Sentec & Tinytach, but I would like something that lasts longer than 4-5 years before the battery dies and it can't be replaced. What are you guys using on the K models? Jim_M 178 #2 Posted September 8, 2013 Your best bet is to use a non contact hand held tach. Just check it every so often, then put the tach back in the garage, it will last forever.
Martin 2,131 #3 Posted September 8, 2013 if you want something permanently mounted, you could use a 520 tach and mount it somewhere......... heres what i did with one of my tractors.....
