417H Vented Hood Latrobe PA

Anyone on here buy the 417H with the vented hood that was for sale in Latrobe PA.  I saw it on Craigslist this morning.  It had been posted yesterday.  I didn't save a picture from the ad, but it looked in good shape and was listed for $400.  I missed the ad yesterday morning because I was getting ready to go to the Pirates vs. Cardinals game.  I'm really not in the market right now as I have locked up all my play money in playoff tickets right now.  I think this 417H is going to be one of those that got away stories.  I have 417-8 with no motor that needs a complete restore.  Looking for my first Hydro to add to my two 1996 314-8s.

that might be my old hood. I traded it from my 417-8 to a fellow from Danbury, ct. he wanted a vented hood and I was going to cut my hood when I put a diesel in my 417-8. think about a diesel for your 417-8      russ
