The seat bolts right to the fender with two bolts in the middle, you can move it to the front holes or back one's to fit you better.

When I restore one of my tractors with that set up, I'm going to fab up some rubber bushings to go under the seat to keep it up off the paint, maybe a 1/4" I've been thinking rubber bumbers found on older car doors.

I used the rubber bushings out of old shock absorbers for seat mounting.

Ok here is an update to the rebuild of the 855. I got all the parts back today from the power coating guy. They look good, I made some mistakes. I left the rubber handle grip for the lift on there & it is no good now. (Have to get a new one) I also thought the powder coating would be a little forgiving on imperfections, I was wrong. I needed to spend more time working on the sheet metal. The 1100 special I worked two weeks on the painting, & sanding of it. I have made a series of links to follow the progress of the restoration. Here is the link:

I will post more pictures as time goes by. Thank you all for your help. Donnie

Thank you for the kind words about my web site. I enjoy photography a lot; my wife & I do that together, not like the wheel horse stuff. The people who did my powder coating are the same people who did George Strait's tour bus. I am very happy with there work. bumone you will have to have your daughter, her husband & grandkids to stop by some time. I have new seals to put in transmission, & parts to rebuild carb, along with new head bolts & spacers. More pictures soon.
