Looks like a good project tractor. All it needs is an engine, some belt covers, a hood, proper seat, dash, cables...

If you decide to part it out, let me know. I could use a few of the parts that are still there. :)

Called to confirm the pick up this morning and he said someone offered him $80 last night so he sold it. I just didn't have time to pick it up last night when we agreed on the deal. Had promised to take Hun Bun out for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. Oh well next time I'll have to get my priorities in order. Hey Bob, you didn't sneak north across the Mason Dixon and ****** it out from under me ---- did you ? :angry-nono:  :angry-nono:  :angry-nono:

Rest assured, that is something that I would never do.

However, this is a classic example of why CL and eBay listings are not allowed to be posted on the forum. Even though you didn't post the link, it was easy enough for someone to find and take it from under your nose that quickly. I'm not saying that someone here did that, but it has happened before.

Sorry you lost it, I would have liked to see what you could do with it.

This is exactly why I stopped looking for these things about two years ago... when the fall into my lap is when I buy... other than that, you guys can deal with the idiots.

That bites but a 50th Wedding Anniversary is way more important! Regardless of losing a tractor! (I couldn't add up all the years of my previous marriages and come close to that)!

On a lighter note in our local "Bargain Sheet", there is a 520HP Wheelhorse tractor coming up at an auction in Huntington County next week. (With a dirt blade). I have no idea where you could put a blueprinted V8 on a Wheelhorse but I think I'm going to look at it! I'll bet it's gas consumption is worse than mine! :)

Sorry for the let-down guys. Next time I won't post till I have it on the trailer. Anyway, now I can get back to the C-101 redo.

Sounds like the seller is the South end of a horse looking North!
