Charger 12 & 211-4

If you guys are willing, I need some advise. Even though I've been searching for months, a guy very close to home has a few horses at his garage for sale. I had talked to him before, but we never agreed on a price. I just stopped by this afternoon, and he's seems like he's ready to get them out of his garage.

Like the title says he has a Charger 12, and a 211-4.

The Charger does not run, and from what I understood, he has no idea why. Told me he thought it was electrical, but didn't say why. It just quit running. It comes with a plow, and a I think a mower deck that is trashed. He also told me they dragged it from where it died. He did not open the tow valve. He wanted 400 last time, but said he'll take 300 now.

On to the 211-4. Is actually looks decent, and they said it ran when they parked it. Has a deck, but the electric PTO doesn't work. I could get that for 50.

I hope these pics of the Charger come through,

Now...I can figure out what's wrong with the charger, and get it running if its at my house. Question is, what's it worth as a no start, and how hard are parts to find for it?

The 211-4 is more of a question of what can I do with it. Can it plow snow 6" at a time, and will it pull a wagon with 100 to 200 lbs of wood? It would be nice for the kid to mess around on either way, but depending on how long it would take to get the Charger ready to work, I'd like to use the 211 for the fall and winter it I had to.

What say ye?

From the picture of the Charger I would say $100 tops. $50 doesn't sound unreasonable for the other one though it is a lawn mower. :twocents-02cents:

Thanks, cowboy. I did a little research and is we that the solid state is expensive to replace parts wise, of you can find them. The new conversion is t bad, bit it won't just be a quick fix. I sou t hell take even 150 for it, so I guess it is going to stay there. Still think I'm gonna grab the little guy, and if I don't like it, I'll sell it.
