Jake Kuhn 1,579 #1 Posted August 21, 2013 Hi guys, A while back someone put electronic ignition on a h60...I've been searching for the thread and just can't find it. I believe it came from jacks small engines but am not sure. If someone could figure out where it came from I would appreciate it! I'm hoping to get my lawn ranger motor back together this week...and would rather use the electronic igntion than adding a external coil like I did on my jd 60. SousaKerry 502 #6 Posted September 11, 2013 Ok I read up on the Nova unit but I do not see how it would actually work on a Tecumseh with under the flywheel magneto?? The newer style with the external magneto I could see cause you can actually adjust the magneto gap without removing the flywheel and guessing.
