16 automatic with front end loader

hi everybody 

im looking at a 16 automatic with a front end loader for sale he wants 1500.00 and im looking for some info on the front end loader (tag said Simpson) any help would be grateful. i know im a newbie but just a newbie to this site and can t wait to get it home THANKS

Never heard of Simpson.  Simpson makes a front loader washing machine.  Maybe someone used a tag off a washing machine?

thanks guys.the tractor has been sitting for about 2 years any info on the tranny would be great wondering if it is ok for a front end loader . i have heard bad things about hydro tranny

I can not speak of the older hydro/loader combos, but the Eaton 1100 hydro/loader worked fine IMO.

I think that for that price you should buy it. The loader alone is worth close to that

That's a great price for a working loader. Even if the tractor is junk.

Agreed! Loaders are hard to come by and for 1500 with a tractor, you really can't go wrong on the deal!

hey guy just picked up the tractor and the loader today.i need to find the the manual for the tractor so i can change the fluids .the tractor is a 16 automatic. again thanks for the help i will try to get u guys some picture this week

Glad you got it. The 16 Automatic was made in 1973. I didn't see a specific manual for that on our site. I'll look at my old files to see if I may have it in an archive.

If you can find the tag, post the numbers. Same with the loader. And you know we love pictures!
