Differences in Electric Clutches

Recommended Posts

Hodge71

I was hoping someone with some more knowledge can help me out here. I need to find out what the differences are between a 101472 and the 101473 electric clutch. Are they interchangeable? Which one is for the 1973 and up tractors? Looking at the owners manuals for 1973 and up machines and I think the -473 is but I cant seem to find any definite info about this.... Is it possible that they are interchangeable? Thanks in advance for the help.....

I'm not sure on part no, but I know there are 2 styles and both will interchange, just be sure of shaft size.

Looks like the 101472 is for 1" shaft and 101473 is for 1-1/8" shaft.

I should have posted the kit part numbers that had these parts

101472 is in 83521

101473 is in 83513

Look them up here

And now I realize I have the wrong clutch for my C-160. I would bet that it has an 1 1/8" crank on the K-341. The clutch the PO gave me is 101472 so its for a 1" shaft. That would be why it wasn't on the tractor I'm guessing.....
