What year is it?  Does it have the 3 point hitch and front and back rotating power tack off?

I think the last year for a D-160 was 1980 (model# 01-16OS01)

Grab the model# off it and we can positively ID it for ya.

That looks like the number off the engine not the tractor.  The tractor number should be on the vertical panel under the steering wheel.

I am interested in the value too as I am electing not to put the time or money into mine, tranny issue of some sort = power loss, mine has a loader and three point, electric clutch. Onan 16 horse. Pretty sure the ARK loader is worth 1450 or so

From the identification manual:

01-16OS01. 1980, D Series Garden Tractor, D-160, Automatic, Onan B43M-GA016, 16hp, Sundstrand 90-1173.

I believe the 9257 indicates it was built on the 257th day of 1979.

1980 was the last model year for the D160.

Does it have an hour meter or cooling fan on the transmission lines under the seat?
