Axle Dia. Raider 10 8spd

Does anyone know what the diameter the rear axle on a raider 10 8 speed?

I know that Wheel Horse had two different sizes.

Without the year...   It is either an 1" or it is an 1" 1/8".  There is also the possibility that the trans you have is not original.  Best to just measure yours.  If you can't measure the diameter...you can measure the circumference and divide it by 3.14....seriously.

All Raiders were 1-1/8th axle if it is the origional trans....there are 2 different sizes Wheel Horse used 1" or 1-1/8.

Two Raider models in 1972 used the 5086 8-speed with 1" axles and 4 pinion gears. The rest of the pre-1973 Raiders used 1-1/8" axles.

1973 and up is anyone's guess as they have shown up with 4-speeds, 8-speeds, 1" axles and 1-1/8" axles in Europe.

I've seen a raider 10 4 speed with 1" axles here in the UK
