Blades don't cut well in front of spindles.

I don't know what it is but my deck doesn't cut the grass well in front of the spindles. It leaves the grass longer. When you look where I've cut you can see the 3 spindle rows of higher grass. Left and right of the spindles it cuts fine. There isn't anything you can do for it but I was curious if others have the same problem. It's a 36 SD.

If it has metric spindles it could be the pulley slipping on the spindle. Check to see if see of it's tight as compression of the nut and lock washer on top of the pulley is what locks it in place. The blade could not be tight enough causing the same. Have you leveled the deck it could be higher in the front causing what you see. It should be slightly lower on the front then the back.

I'll check the tightness of the blades but what are metric spindles? Thanks.

All the older spindles were 3/4". The newer ones are 3/4" at the blade then 17mm at the bearings they used 6203 bearings  the pulleys at the top are 5/8" OD with a 5/8 " fine thread nut and lock washer. There is sleeve spacer between the bearings and the 5/8" nut and lock washer holds it together and keeps the pulley tight. With the double pulley on the center blade it can slip on that spindle and still power the other two blades.
