Would it cause any problem to the GT's trans if I used a 4 3/16 " engine pulley from a KT-17 (Ex C-175 that ran an Eaton 1100 trans) instead of the 4 3/4" pulley that's on the GT's original engine? meadowfield 2,545 #2 Posted July 30, 2013 I don't think so - the transmission is more efficient at the right revs, but unless you are tilling/mowing, etc and need the power most people go for saving gas and run the engine a little slower.
