VinsRJ 723 #7 Posted July 29, 2013 Yes a Clinton with the Fairbanks recoil would be correct for a RJ, Clinton Model should be B1290. It does look like one I have seen before with that STP sticker......
pinecone 26 #8 Posted July 29, 2013 i posted this tractor photo in responce to a rear tire question for rj's. must have brought up that CL posting 40 times before getting in contact, was there for a month. thought i'd wait him out, in the middle of WH no-where. seller took no consideration i'd spend half the $500 price getting it. oh well, good for him for selling at his price and great for the buyer that wanted it. sort of brings a tear to my eye seeing that stp sticker though. not hard to notice i'm in the middle of hard core WH collectors land. i haven't Earned my oily nails yet to contact them. give me a year. Ken B 3,189 #13 Posted August 1, 2013 I been out to the Island to pick up boats and outboards before. Its not that bad a ride from Danbury CT. If you can avoid draggin a trailer behind you that will make things a little easier and cheaper. I try to limit my rides to a 5 hr round trip nowadays for something I can't live without. Back in the day I had no limits as to how far I'd travel.
