P3x 57 #6 Posted July 27, 2013 I measured my 36" Tiller. I get 37" X 16.5"
bean 85 #7 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) I see that the tines come off by removing the pins and sliding them off. or is that grossly over-simplifying it? or is it more like, drive pins out with 3lb sledge and drift , apply heat with oxy/acet torch, swear profusely ,etc? I measured my 36" Tiller. I get 37" X 16.5" thank you Sir Edited July 27, 2013 by bean
GlenPettit 1,717 #8 Posted July 30, 2013 Some models do have a simple pin on each tine assembly (3 pairs of 4 tines @) to remove it, each of the two tine assemblies weights about 20#. Mine slid off very easily. The tiller is very clumsey, hard to grip, hard to slide, uneven. To transport in a trunk, up-side-down might help most, with the tines off. Good Luck.
