Need help with deck compatability

Hey all,

 

Got my first Wheelhorse given to me yesterday! It is a 1986 417-8. Runs like a dream and everything seems to work on it just fine. The mower deck is completely shot however.

 

What I need help with is finding a replacement mower deck. The current deck is a 42" side discharge.  Will decks from other years fit this mower?

 

Located not far from Cincinnati, Ohio.

As long as it comes off a horizontal shaft WH engine it should fit (of course there are exceptions)!

with the 17 HP Kohler you could power any 36, 42 or 48 deck.
