Gear 4-speed 1" axle 4-pinion 5053 4-speed transmission with 4 two-piece pinions (4235 spur gear on 3909 pin) differential and 1" axles

Replaced 5007 5025 5046 5049 in 1966

Used 1966-1969

The later pinion gears are one piece making them much stronger.

Don't have a ref to strength but is four pinion, 1" axel, comes on Lawn Ranger, 657, 857, Work horse 700, Commando 6, 8, V8.  Don't know anything about those except L-156 Lawn Ranger and it's only a roller for now. Short little axels too.

Woops, completely left out your 1056, course you' already found out what it had pushin it>
