Started on my 1974 C-160 Picture heavy New Pics!!!!!!!

I bought this earlier this spring and when the PO brought it I was pretty disappointed but I bought it anyway. Turned out that the engine had been replaced with a K-321 but what the heck. I got caught up some and decided this is what I would work on next. First I replaced some missing and junk  engine parts to make sure it would run. Hurray it does.

 

You can see form the first pictures it wasn't promising but it is coming along. Enjoy the pictures.

 

7/23/13 : I failed to mention that the PO had sand blasted the hood. belt guard and seat pan but they were all badly pitted so I did the hood today. Someday I'm going to learn how to spread the Bondo thinner. Body filler is one of those talents that  takes practice. When you only do it once in a while it gets to be a bear.

 

7/27/13 UPDATE Got a few more pictures after I got it painted red.

Awesome Lynn. I go get my '74 C-160 8-Speed on Friday afternoon. Its not a great looking machine either but I believe I'm going to do a complete resto on her in the winter after I use her to mow for the rest of this year. I'm in love....lol
