slammer302 2,156 #1 Posted July 23, 2013 Just bought a 308-8 the guy i bought it from said it was using sum oil so he had a new rod and piston put in it when they started it up it had a knock in it so they turned it off and never messed with it again. I took the oil pan off and took a look every thing looks right except were the rod connects to the crank looks like it has alot of side to side play would this make noise when running?
