rmaynard 16,363 #2 Posted July 23, 2013 Need more details. Does it start again after sitting a while? Does it just die or does it spit and sputter first? Will it keep running longer if you choke it? Any additional info will be helpful.

Kelly 1,033 #5 Posted July 24, 2013 hard to say but sounds like a fuel problem, check lines be sure they are free flowing, clean filter/sediment bowl, could just plain need a carb rebuild, was it running ok before???
wheelhorse66 10 #6 Posted July 24, 2013 no i checked all the stuff you said but it still does it it acts like it aint getting fuel but its getting plenty of fuel and it did run before but it sat for a while now nothing
rmaynard 16,363 #7 Posted July 24, 2013 Sounds like a fuel problem. Check the fuel pump to be sure it's pumping with a good flow. Take the carb off and give it a good cleaning. Be sure the main metering valve is clean through it's full length. It's hollow inside and need to be clean.
