1056 transaxle question

would a 1056 be good for pulling and how much pressure can the transaxle take

If you mean heavy competitive pulling, probably not.

If you pull a smaller transfer sled in a "stock antique garden tractor" type of class and the transaxle is in good condition you might be fine.

im talking 900lb class

A 1/2" wide drive belt / 2.5" engine / 4" tranz pulley is not the best combo, but If that's your only choice - pull it.

The worst that can happen is something will break - which can happen to any of them.

Fix what breaks or add stronger parts and pull again.
