thehorse 221 #1 Posted July 16, 2013 Was cutting grass when I stopped and was going to shift. The clutch pedal went down and did not return or returned slowly. No belt tension....no drive gears. ????? Anyone????Please!!!!
chevyaddict83 39 #2 Posted July 16, 2013 Look at the end of the clutch rod on the left. It has a pin in it. I can't remember the name if it. But that pin goes thru the rod that moves the clutch pulley. I just fixed mine yesterday. www.perfecttrimlawnandgardencare.com Look to the left of the brake disk. Push the clutch pedal. Look where it pivits. You'll see what I'm talking about www.perfecttrimlawnandgardencare.com

ericj 1,579 #4 Posted July 17, 2013 from about 1990 or some were around there wheel horse used a gas strut or shock like used to hold the seat up, on the clutch peddle when it goes the peddle won't return and the best fix is to install the spring like used on the older tractors. i left the rod in place and just went ahead and hooked up the spring, works great did this on at least 2 tractors eric j

Lagersolut 743 #6 Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) There's one on E-bay, out the door with shipping $ 7.66 Seller is Killian- I bought things from her before - no problems and fast shipping The outdoor power stores online are nice for big orders but not for small - I think they all have a 8-10 dollar flat rate start on shipping .
