Little help....transmission, belt tensioner????

Was cutting grass when I stopped and was going to shift. The clutch pedal went down and did not return or returned slowly. No belt tension....no drive gears. ????? Anyone????Please!!!!

Look at the end of the clutch rod on the left. It has a pin in it. I can't remember the name if it. But that pin goes thru the rod that moves the clutch pulley. I just fixed mine yesterday.

Look to the left of the brake disk. Push the clutch pedal. Look where it pivits. You'll see what I'm talking about

Ok...I looked. It seems the spring that attaches to the axle gave up tha ghost. It's not there.

from about 1990 or some were around there wheel horse used a gas strut or shock like used to hold the seat up, on the clutch peddle when it goes the peddle won't return and the best fix is to install the spring like used on the older tractors. i left the rod in place and just went ahead and hooked up the spring, works great did this on at least 2 tractors

The spring seems to be toro 108035. Maybe napa?????? ace????? Anyone find a replacement other than toro.

They are $6 plus$8 shipping

7 3/4 oal

Seller is Killian- I bought things from her before - no problems and fast shipping

 

The outdoor power stores online are nice for big orders but not for small - I think they all have a 8-10 dollar flat rate start on shipping .
