glgrumpy 35 #1 Posted July 10, 2013 My air cleaner is K model looking 2 x 7" diameter. The hood has a mark in it that measures 8". Not sure if the engine and hood moving have just made it bigger rubbing or if it is to really have an 8" cover? There is one on epay now and I asked them to measure for me to see if different than mine. What you guys say/think?
Trouty56 567 #2 Posted July 10, 2013 For the D-180??? it is deeper than the single cylinder engines but might be the same circumference. I might have a pic here somewhere.... See if these show.....my album is private and I may need to show them differently..... Man they are big to me.....

"D"- Man 827 #4 Posted July 10, 2013 My 18 Automatic air cleaner is the same as Troutys as well, the mark on the underside of your hood is where the factory insulation was placed it should have the 8" diameter circle.
glgrumpy 35 #5 Posted July 11, 2013 So, looks like should be 3" deep? Still 7" diameter then? How does it make that 8" mark in insulation? Moves around that much?
pacer 3,177 #6 Posted July 11, 2013 Outside dia should be 6.07", inside 4.7", and hgt 3.08". You can get very close to those dims by measuring your mounting fixture. This is a D-180 mount listed on ebay...
