Kohler K482 Oil Pan cast-iron or aluminum?

    Anyone know if the oil pan on a Kohler K482, that came on an 18 Automatic, was cast iron or aluminum?  The reason I am asking is because I have two different 18 Automatics, one has a K482 with an aluminum oil pan, and the other has a K482 with a  cast iron oil pan.  Just wondering which is correct.  P.S. the tractor with the aluminum oil pan has evidence of having been modified at some point.  Thanks, Mark.
