sjgriz4 0 #1 Posted July 4, 2013 I am going to buy a new set of ag tires for the rear of my 416. I will be using it mostly for mowing and gardening so I would like to have wider tires so my question is what sizes can one get on the orginal rims without rubbing on any metal? Sparky-(Admin) 23,128 #3 Posted July 4, 2013 Ag's seem to only come in 8.50 and 10.50 widths to the best of my knowledge. I think the 10.5's will fit clearance wise but your rims (if they are factory originals) will be only 7" wide and the 10.5's will bulge out and you may not get a nice flat tread pattern, which defeats the purpose of the wide tire. Maybe try to find a pair of 8.5" wide rear rims like what came on the 520 and the GT1800's and mount up 10.5 rubber on those, this way you will still have the turf tires if you ever wanted to swap over. papaglide 542 #6 Posted July 4, 2013 I have the stock rims on my tractor. That being said, the 8.50's would fit and have plenty of clearance?
