welderman85 53 #1 Posted July 4, 2013 I just blew the motor up in my LT 1137 I was given a 12 horse to swap in but I am not sure how to go about unhooking the clutch and pulling the motor do I have to pull the sterring shaft. thanks for any help. thank you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SousaKerry 503 #2 Posted July 4, 2013 Its been a long time since I pulled the motor on mine but I do not remember pulling the steering apart. The PTO has to be removed first once you drop the lower half off the cone pulley is held on with a bolt into the crank shaft. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
