chip61 666 #1 Posted June 30, 2013 I have a couple older tractors-an Allis B112 and a Sears SS12. I have been looking for a Wheel Horse to use to mow and missed out on a couple good deals and passed on a couple that didn't look so good. My neighbor showed up today with a 314-8 with 360 hours on it and asked if I wanted it (cheap). It's been under a tarp for a while-it's dirty but in real good shape. I'm going to get a battery for it and drain the old fuel out clean the tank and then see what I've got. Apparently the tension spring is gone or broken from the drive belt tensioner-I'll check on that next weekend when I'm down there. It has the Kohler Magnum14 engine-even though I haven't heard it run yet, I am pretty confident it will be a nice tractor. Now I need to find a 48" deck for it. chip61 666 #10 Posted July 8, 2013 Thanks. I am looking for a 48" deck for it. I'm not real happy with the cub cadet I'm using. I put a battery in today and cleaned out the fuel tank and added fresh fuel. I tried it, but it didn't fire. No time to troubleshoot this afternoon-maybe next week.
