doubledhorse 2 #1 Posted June 28, 2013 Hello, I have a 1961 401 with the original 4hp Kohler engine. I bought the tractor with the recoil starter torn apart. The former owner stated that all the pieces were there, but they are not. It has a Fairbanks-Morse rewind starter on it. It is a model 425 type 85 according to the original paperwork that came with the tractor. Would anyone out there have one of these they are willing to part with? Or possibly have a whole replacement starter or know where I can find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated! My engine is a K91, serial number is 476727 specification number is 31482A.
