elbsr42 0 #1 Posted June 26, 2013 I have a wheelhorse model 314-8. Does anyone know the model rototiller that will work with it? Also will a wheelhorse rototiller from a C106 tractor work with the 314-8 tractor? please advise. Thank you. elbsr42
dcrage 629 #2 Posted June 26, 2013 Any Wheel Horse tillers from the mid 70s (starting with the B and C model tractors; 1974?) forward thru the end of production of the "classic" Wheel Horse (what is that? the 315-8 in 2004?) will work with the following exceptions; tillers for vertical shaft tractors won't work; tillers for the Ds won't work; tillers for the LXi tractors won't work -- For example I acquired a 1976 model tiller which mounts directly to my 1990 model 310-

dennist 139 #5 Posted June 27, 2013 Make sure when/if you buy a tiller get all the parts or you can get stuck paying as much and more for those parts separate. Mid mount idler, rear rock shaft and cable, rear hitch, chain clevis, spring, even the belt is quite expensive($80 Toro). Good luck and You will enjoy the tiller attachment. boovuc 1,090 #6 Posted June 27, 2013 Dennist nailed it. Many parts to run and lift or lift assist the tiller and they get lost over time!
