Wheelhorsedairyfarmer 13 #1 Posted June 22, 2013 Alright, so I'm planning on rebuilding the engine in my C-141. However, I can't find a "rebuild kit", and I don't know exactly all the parts I need to rebuild it. I know piston, rings, and rod, but I don't know all the other little pieces I will need. Anybody have a parts list for rebuilding?

Simple tear down, measure, machine, clean , reassemble. Just did two of the K301's with great sucess. Just check the cam lobes so you don;t have to do it twice like it I did. diesel cowboy 263 #3 Posted June 23, 2013 While your in there you might as well do the gov. gear and shaft. Even if they dont look bad its worth the few bucks to replace them. Had a couple break on me afte I put the engine back together and it had to come completly back apart cause there the first parts to go in. Stewart
oldredrider 2,553 #4 Posted June 23, 2013 The most important thing you will need is the Kohler engine manual. You can download it from their site.
