Traded some rubber for this little guy. Had a set of 6-12 ags not being used so I figured, why not? Runs good, no smoke. Will probably be a hot rod when we are done.post-8084-0-66834400-1371691108_thumb.jppost-8084-0-11430400-1371691119_thumb.jppost-8084-0-35335800-1371691129_thumb.jp

Nice Horse! What's the son going to name his Stallion, "The 'Lone' Ranger?"

Gift? I think you're setting the 9-year old young man up!

I see a lot less mowin' and snow clearin' in your future but, we see a despicable, mean, underhanded ploy givin' a 9-year old a "toy." Is that how you're easin' your conscience? Calling the Horse a toy just to get out of yard work?

You've got a good kid (now your slave!) that's not going to complain. Lucky you! I didn't make my sons work till they were 11 or 12.

What's up your sleeve next? A wagon to move trash to the curb? More work for the 9-year old working son? Are you a slave driver or what? A lawn sweeper too? You're going to keep the young man in the hot seat every chance you (he) get(s)?

"Hey kid, clean your 'toy' when you're done playin' (really mowing your lawn!). While you're at it get my pickup too, I have to go 'help' the neighbor a little." Yeah, some excuse, slave driver! His friends will be out playin' while he's slavin'!

I sense an early retirement for you! An early start in life for your working 9-year old son!

PS. How long will it take the boy to work off his indebtedness? You need to go to Confession NOW!

This post gotta go! Sorry, guess I'm havin' a bad day.

Here's the picture I'm seein'.

The Mrs. in the kitchen, bakin' bread. Cleaning up. She calls out to you, "Hon. Are you watchin' our son he's outside playin' all alone?"

You, on the covered screened-in back porch, cleanin' your tackle box. Watchin' the ball game on the big screen and listening to the "Lone" Ranger going back 'n forth. You call it playing, making the poor kid mow the lawn.......again.

"Yes, Hon. I'm watching him play, he's having fun."

All the other neighborhood boys are gathering at the curb watching your son "play." You should be ashamed of yourself Mr. Slave Driver!

Have your bad day on someone else's post. I got my kid a TOY. If you notice, there is no deck on this, nor did it come with one. I don't care if you approve or not. Some parents buy their children atv's or dirt bikes. What's so wrong with getting them a horse to ride around on? We go to shows and I have yet to see a ranger this model. I would NEVER make him mow my yard and I'm sure other parents would agree. If he ever asked to mow that would be a different story. I decided to find him one when he kept after me to ride my 1054 around the yard. Keep on posting and I WILL report you.

Was only jesting Hot Rod! Easy. Great gift for the young man. I did the same for my boys, now in their late 30's and 40's. No regrets from them, their Mom, or I. We chat 'bout those years often, good memories.

Have fun, relax. I did, from the get-go, notice "no deck."
