buckhornbob 13 #1 Posted June 16, 2013 Hello from Canada I just completed a deal on a 1999 522xi with 44" two-stage snowblower, 44" mower deck and a KwikWay front end loader. Unit has 625 hours, all lights and safeties work and it has had regular servicing with synthetic oil used. Still finding my way along this Wheel Horse path and think $2500 was a decent price. Need to replace front tires and would like to adjust the hydro pedal to be a bit more responsive and not to creep. Any comments, advice or wisdom appreciated. rmaynard 16,301 #2 Posted June 16, 2013 Although I have no experience with the 522xi, $2500 seems like a good price with all those accessories. I think with the FEL alone it would be worth the money. Glad to have another northern neighbor aboard.

doc724 925 #4 Posted June 16, 2013 That was a great deal. Two stage blowers and FEL are in demand. Best of luck with your new stalion
Forest Road 594 #5 Posted June 16, 2013 Awesome deal! I paid a bit more for one with just a loader. Now you need another machine to run the blower. Mine has 1000hours and still going strong. Good luck with it!
buckhornbob 13 #7 Posted June 16, 2013 Thanks for the welcomes and the support. Pictures will follow but I am not sure how soon. We have moved from a farm where I had a Ferguson 2058, a Massey Ferguson 35 (Perkins Diesel), a Zetor 5245 and a KIOTI DK45SE HST. Will take some getting used to with the smaller size and the controls in different locations. In the few minutes of seat time I have had, I was reaching for loader controls on my right not my left and HST pedals beside each other not toe and heel. Practice and patience will win out as soon as this move is completed. Any tips on the easiest things to look at for the creeping Hydro Transmission? Cheers Bob
shallowwatersailor 3,214 #8 Posted June 16, 2013 Sounds like you made out very well. For the front tires, especially with the FEL, I would recommend Vredestein 16x6.50-8 V61 HD 5-Rib 170/60-8 6 ply tires. The Toro website will have the manuals for your tractor and attachments. I would look in the Hydraulics manual on how to adjust the pedal for creep.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,499 #9 Posted June 16, 2013 You should be able to download a good selection of manuals from https://lookup3.toro.com/request/request.cfm Enter your 73561 model number and use 9912345 for a serial number. If you have trouble post your numbers here. Garry - a little northwest of you

Cheers Bob Take a little time and go over all the foot pedal linkage. All mine were so loose I maxed out at about 1/2 the speed I have now. As for the creeping its a very simple adjustment of the hydro cam near the right rear wheel. Look in the shop manual for exact info . And make sure you clean the power steering hydro filter. I run about 400 - 500 lbs in the ballast box. Seems to work ok. But truth be told I'd love a compact 4x4 tractor. And welcome to Red Square Kevin
