C-Series mower deck attachment help

Recommended Posts

Antiquated

I've been having a terrible time getting my deck on. I even had my WH guru come over yesterday but it began storming as soon as he got here and we made no progress. Basically I can't get the front of the deck to raise and lower. The back part will go up and down but the front is stuck in the raised position. Plus, I have a lot of side to side movement and I can't get it to stay on. I found a great picture tutorial on how to remove the deck last fall and I thought I would just follow it backwards but I've not had such luck. Can anybody understand my situation well enough to assist me?

Take a look at figure 6 on page 2. Sounds like you do not have the fork in the correct position.

Are you attaching it to the mid point attach a matic and not just the lifting arm?

I think I got the deck attached properly.  My problem now is that there is too much tension on the PTO lever so it continually rubs on the clutch and I can't start the engine unless I physically pull back on the lever to not trip the PTO interlock switch.  It's like the mower deck is permanently turned on.

Pull the pin where the rod attaches to the Triangle shaped lever on the motor and lenghten it w few turns

Also look at this service bulletin to see if it applies

I am just getting started , traded 1,000 rds. Of 5.56 ammo for a running C120 w/mower deck and plow attachments .

Got new blades and drive belt and struggled but got the deck on and think I got the drive belt on right , started cutting grass and had the deck too low and dug in , pulley on right side (discharge) of deck came off , now can't figure out how to get it and duke kick belt back on , need a diagram , can anyone help ?

We do not know what you have so go here

https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro

Type in C-120 with a dash.

Each model that comes up has a link to it's attachment list on the right.

Open it and click on the model number of the deck size and type you have. The parts list should come up.

Mower decks are sized by their width of cut - not the width of the deck.
