meadowfield 2,754 #1 Posted June 15, 2013 Hi, I've a customer with a blank tractor from the Belgian factory. From the ID plate 71-08K4 I decode this as a 1977, 8hp Kohler, 4 speed. There's no obvious match on my database or Toro that I can find, closest model I'd say is maybe a B-80... Anyone got any ideas on this model? Thanks Mark
wheeledhorseman 579 #2 Posted June 15, 2013 A photo or two might help.
Anglo Traction 761 #3 Posted June 15, 2013 I suppose it really depends if the Tractor actually has a 4 speed Tranny. As you know Mark, no records of 4 speeds in a B80 for that year. As Andy says, a pic would help a great deal. Otherwise, It's a Custom Set of Decals that describes exactly what it is, not what it should be. Regards
meadowfield 2,754 #4 Posted June 15, 2013 I know B100's are 8 sp, actually on holiday so hard to get access to the database and look. Being a Belgian model it's probably a one off.... Will try get pics
KC9KAS 4,744 #5 Posted June 16, 2013 I have a B100 that is an automatic. My B80 (1975) is an 8 speed.
meadowfield 2,754 #6 Posted June 17, 2013 I've been sent some really poor pics, it looks exactly like a mid 70's C series or B-80. Only the transmission is 4 speed... PTO, clutch, brakes, regulator are all as expected, it's clearly a Belgium special! Model number fits the spec - guess I'm making some custom B-80 4 speed decals. mark
