Jake Kuhn 1,579 #2 Posted June 13, 2013 Hi duke, haven't seen you on here for a while...been wondering how the 520 did this winter. As for a value, I don't know much about the newer stuff but it looks like a really good haul! Looking forward to seeing if you get it.
Sparky-(Admin) 23,199 #3 Posted June 13, 2013 Nice to see you on the site pal! Are you buying the whole collection or just a tractor or two? The 520 is an 88 or 89 with a straight axle so its not a hi-dollar machine. The verticle shaft machine is about worthless. The GT-14, the round hood and the 953 look to be worth getting if they just need motors, they are old and collectable. The C-125 doesnt have much value in that shape. Mike.............. HorseFixer 2,013 #4 Posted June 13, 2013 Jake the 520 did me a mighty fine Job. Didn't have any great snows to test it out on, just maybe an 8 to 10 incher nothing to brag about but the comfort level and gear reduction steering, The Led Lights, Strobes, Windshield, wiper, control panel, Stereo everything just really worked well. It doesn't throw the snow any farther that I can tell buts it Handles better and its way faster with the maneuvering ability tight steering and it blows snow by not bogging down and travels way way faster. She is a keeper for sure, and should last me the rest of my life. I kept a log and I blowed snow 20 times for a total of 61 inches and logged 8.8 hrs total time averaging .44 hrs per use. That is approx 22 minutes and before I figure it took me appox 35 to 40 minutes per use. Thanks Sparky I am thinking on buying the whole fam damily and wondered what a good pkg price $$$ would be? The guy hinted he wanted it all gone and there would be a better price. ~Duke

Ken B 3,189 #9 Posted June 13, 2013 Good too hear from you Duke. its been awhile. Here is what I'd offer, 1500.00. You might be able to make 1500 bucks (maybe more) back if you sell everything EXCEPT the 520. The 520 could be your profit that you get to keep for your efforts. He wants it all gone asap. I'd tell him you'd have to spend alot of time listing it all for sale, storing it and that you MIGHT have to sit on it awhile. Not too mention lots of back breakin haulin. If he winces, I'd also mention that he is selling a lot of machines with bad engines. At the end of the day, only you know how bad you really want it all......
