sorekiwi 761 #2 Posted August 17, 2008 Thanks Mike, I've put a bid in on these, if I win them I'll be hoping some of you guys will take a couple!
sorekiwi 761 #3 Posted August 22, 2008 OK, got oubid on these, I was going to keep a couple and offer the rest here for cost. So I'm (and everyone else that's keyless!) back to square one - looking for one (or two). If anyone come across someone selling reproductions, I would appreciate a phone #. I'll try Ken Stephens too, and if I find some I'll let y'all know

Buzz 502 #6 Posted August 23, 2008 The guy who usually sold them at Rough and Tumble wasn't there last week. He usually had some other goodies (air and fuel filters) at a decent price. Darn, I had my shopping list too............
sorekiwi 761 #7 Posted August 23, 2008 Mike, you can go to a massey ferguson dealer and still get them cheap! Greg is dead right, the local Massey Fergusson dealer had a bag of them. The MF part # is 180292V1 $3.54 each. Came home, stuck it in the hole, and it worked! Thanks Greg!

WH854 45 #9 Posted August 23, 2008 The key for my 854 does not look like those and I believe it to be original. You would have to get one made for it. On one side it says All Lock Co Selma Alabama. On other side # PK990 Chas from Butler Pa. B)
linen beige 15 #10 Posted August 24, 2008 The original keys are Cole-Hersee Boston U.S.A. branded. Key number 8394. Some later versions (At least by 1965.) are marked as Cole Boston, without the Hersee. They are not unique to Wheel Horse.
rydogg 186 #11 Posted February 26, 2010 I just picked up a 653 and was looking for a key since the original was missing, I checked with the local Massey dealer and they can get the key but I was informed that the part number is 180292M1 and it is now $9 I can find them online for as low as $1 but they want $10 to ship it. I guess i'll just get one from the dealer unless someone here has another source. Well I just tried the new part number in epay and they had a few sets with much cheaper shipping so I ordered a pair. If anyone else is having problems finding these keys just use the new part number I listed. Mine were under $6 for a pair with shipping. Now I just have to wait til they get here to make sure they work if not I will let you know.
