welderman85 53 #1 Posted June 9, 2013 on my Lt 1137 when you turn the key the relay just clicks. i tryed a new relay and battery and same thing just a click from the relay you can jump the relay and it will fire right up. dose anyone have an idea on what i can check out next. thank you very much Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,559 #2 Posted June 9, 2013 By jumping the starter solenoid you are bypassing the wiring taking battery power to the ignition switch, the wiring from the ignition switch to the pto switch, pto switch to clutch pedal switch and from the clutch switch to the solenoid. If it will click the circuit is complete but a poor connection will starve the circuit of power not supplying enough for good solenoid engagement. Don1977 605 #3 Posted June 10, 2013 Check your battery cables for corrosion or loose connection. I have had cables corrode inside the the cover, so check the wire going in. Also check the connections from the solenoid to the starter. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
