squonk 43,865 #3 Posted June 5, 2013 That's awesome! I wish I lived in the country and had the room for a big plot. I wouldn't grow anything but weeds but I would be playing in the dirt a lot.

Vinylguy 4,692 #7 Posted June 5, 2013 Terry I saw your post last night and wanted to respond then but its not easy using my phone. I have to say that I could not be happier that my disc and plow have found a good home where they will be used and enjoyed by you and your kids. As I look at the pictures of Andrew proudly working the soil it took me back 52 years instantly as I recalled the feeling I had on my first solo pulling a disc with a wd45 allis. Seeing the soil turn and smooth, nothing like it. Awesome pictures, thank you for posting. I am making 8 oz. mugs for the big show and after seeing this post I have to make one for Andrew. problem is I see you have 2 more Wheel horse fans at home. If you send me a pm with their names I will make sure they each get an official forum mug with their names Cant wait to see pics of the plow.
stevasaurus 23,285 #8 Posted June 5, 2013 Great pictures Terry. That little guy is never going to get tired of riding that horse...is he? I think he rode all day at AJ's Jamboree 2 weeks ago.
SousaKerry 503 #9 Posted June 5, 2013 Yeah that reminds me of the first few fields I Disked on my own about that age on a Farmall H. The disk was one of the old double gang type with a trip lever that you pulled while in reverse to set the angle of attack strait so you could move between fields and not tear up the road too much..
