C-161 engine swap to B-100. Rubber vs. Flat mounts.

My B-100 I really like and have had it since 1999.  Hower I think it needs more power.  I found a parts tractor with a K341 shaker mount, I beleive it is a 78 or 79 C-161.  My B-100 have the bolts that go up from the frame into the oil pan.  No shaker mount.  So can I just onbolt the shaker mount rails and put them on the B-100 and have it be plug and play?  I do know in advance the oil pans are not interchangable.

I am not real sure you might have to change the belt cover. Measure from you center on the crank to your frame on both tractors and check if there are any height differences.

I think the center line winds up being the same as the shaker plate engines use a shorter oil pan.  all you should have to do is position the engine using the belt guard and mark the holes in the frame for the shaker mount bars.  Remove the engine and drill the holes.

Good Luck :handgestures-thumbupright:

The PTO hardware needs to be changed as well.

Comes to mine what rmaynard said. I am thinking also that PTO hardware needs changed over too.
