i picked up this curtis cab at auction and now i am not sure about putting it on my D.the front of the cab will sit right above the hood and to open the hood you have to flip the cab backwards.and i am not sure about how to mount the front of the cab.

eh..doesn't look very good to me..

to make it fit, you would have to hack up the tractor a bit..not worth it IMO..

and even then, it still wouldn't really "fit"..if you know what I mean..

personally, I wouldn't do it..

I'll bet if you notch out the support rails at the sides of the front of the cab-right under the window-then bend the flat panel back at the level needed to clear the window over the steering wheel, but miss hood-then weld supports back together- I think the hood will open then too-hope you can see what I'm saying. Thanks-Al

I don't know...gonna need  a lot of work to warrant being installed on that tractor.

My son has one for his 520H, it hinges at the back and just sits on the hood on a rubber cushion as I remember. It doesn't actually bolt or mount to the tractor in the front.

you might send WorkinHorses a PM and ask him about his.

Is the cab complete with doors or curtins? If not, its not much more than a sun shade....

the cab came as you see in the pics but i do have red canvas i was going to use if i use this cab.

notching the rails and bending the front panel is a good idea,i think it still needs to be mounted solid somehow and now that it is sitting on the tractor i do not if i like the look of it.

little bit of tinting on the glass - and some AC - great combo on those 90+ degree SPF50 days - of course you could get zapped like an ant under a magnifying glass too
